Overview

Join the local outrigger canoe team for one of their real two hour training sessions off Malpaís, at sunrise or sunset. You paddle a traditional outrigger canoe alongside the team in open water, with the coastline and the Cabo Blanco reserve as part of the setting. An experienced steersperson guides the canoe and the pace is adapted to each person, so no previous paddling experience is needed, only basic fitness for sustained paddling. Spots depend on the team’s scheduled training sessions, so booking in advance is recommended.
